The odds of me attending this year are just about zero, and given the initial list of acts, I can't say I'm too disappointed.
The greatest part of South By is hanging with friends in-and-out of the music business. And as the years pass, that number seems to be getting smaller and smaller.

FU2. My 1st year attending, looking forward to it. Drive over, what else are you doing? Are you looking for bands you know, or bands to discover?
oh, you'll have an incredible time. it's just not a good move for me for a number of reasons. i've been six times and every single time it's the trip of the year.
on the band front, i like a good mix of unknown and known. either way, what i said above.
have fun. and tell dewey to open up his fridge for 2am parties.
Yeah doesn't look that great. I think I'll try to catch Toy Horses though.
