To my friend who opened up readings last night, what an incredibly touching story. Beautiful interplay between real life and, well, baseball. I laughed, I felt chills and I left quite proud of a good pal who's obviously becoming one hell of a writer.

This morning I hopped out of bed at 530am ready to write. It's now 815am and I suppose I'll get started. You were the inspiration.
