I'm sitting in my local coffee shop right now. Every day since this place opened earlier this year, the owner has played nothing but the radio. As I'm trying to locate a good Springsteen Christmas video, on comes Lucinda Williams' "Change the Locks." I leap from my seat, "Hey Mohammed, where'd this come from?" "Someone just dropped this CD off yesterday. I have no idea who it was," he said. After that Williams song comes Blaze Foley's "Clap Pigeons," a virtually unknown song but one of my all-time favorites. It's playing as I type. This just made my Christmas. What in the world are the odds?
